We just had the perfect Fall weekend here...hope everyone else got the same!
The weather was absolutely awesome!
And Moriah was able to come home for a short break from studying Anatomy. She drove the girls home late on Friday night after they went to the Alabama Symphony concert with Hilary Hahn. They came in really late, but we hit the ground running the next morning early so they could work their 4-H animals. As I had previously been halter-breaking the whole show string, it was a much-needed rest, especially for my back! We all spent time at the barn with the heifers and cows, we did lots of laundry, we worked through their weekend homework, we had a bonfire with hot dogs and marshmallows. We had a blessing of the animals service at church this morning, so we took our little border terrier, Hurin, and some of the show cows as well.
So, lots going on.
But, it was just a great weekend to be together.
We spend too much time apart these days.
