Photographer Fail

Did you ever know somebody that was not the first-born child in a family whose parents just seemed to forget to record their childhood in photos?  Tons of adorable pics of #1 and maybe #2 and even #3...but hardly a snap of #4 or #5 or #6?  We all know somebody like this.
My DH is one of those people.  There are dozens of photos of his siblings as children...his grandmother even had photos copied and made an album for each one of them.  Jim's has about 10 pics in it.  Really.  And some of the 10 are school photos, so they don't really count.  His newborn baby pics show all of his siblings lined up by the crib and he is a little blob on the mattress. 
Can't really even see his face. 
Poor guy.

I always thought this was JUST.TERRIBLE!
But now!

This is the one and only photo that I took of Sarah Ying on her birthday.  We had a pizza party by the pool.  I usually give up on the pool before this, but she wanted a pool party, it has been really hot and I made it happen!  (Lots more work to keep the pool going once it gets dry, dusty and leaves start falling off the trees.)  So we decorated with Hello Kitty balloons and banners, we swam, we played, we ate pizza, we sang "Happy Birthday" and blew out the candles, we did cake and ice cream, we opened presents...and I took one (1) picture.

Oh.my.word.
I am one of THOSE parents.
It is JUST.TERRIBLE!
