(Although, we usually keep doing some schoolwork through the summer...so, not totally the END...)
Moriah graduated!
Then she passed the NCLEX with flying colors and has already started working at UAB Hospital! Woot! Woot! :o)
Abby graduated!
Next up for her, International Music Festival in Montecito, CA and then on to UA in the Fall with a Presidential Scholarship. She was actually accepted into several outstanding schools (Oberlin Conservatory!) with hefty scholarships, but due to our current disastrous financial situation, felt it would be wiser to go locally for free. Hopefully be able to transfer later.
Hannah and Josh finished up the semester with the Tuscaloosa Youth Symphony with their Spring Concert.
Hannah was 2nd chair, 2nd violins. Josh 2nd chair viola...but sat 3rd in the concert while a faculty member was assisting them.
Everyone had their spring recitals:
Josh played Sarabande by Carl Bohm on the viola.
Hannah played Gigue from Sonata in D Minor by Veracini on the violin.
Sarah Ying played a Seitz Concerto in G from Suzuki Book 4.
Unfortunately, the video of Sarah Ying didn't work out...but I did get a still pic afterwards!
We opened the pool during all this...
Jim started farming.
I moved dorm room stuff home (again.)
We planted our garden and got our chickens set up for the summer.
And I have been working on finding a job.
Anybody hears of anything, let me know!
